- 5 / 5By G BellWe stop here every time we're in the hill country. The decor & atmosphere have a classic hill country kind of feel. The cafe dining space and bathrooms are clean and orderly. The lunch/dinner menu offers a good selection of typical diner fare and Tex-Mex dishes. The pie selection is good (8 types) and every one we've tried has been delicious. The prices appear to be right in line with what you're receiving.
My only complaint would be that they can be bit stingy with the ice cream serving when ordering pies Ala Mode. Asides from that, everything is cool and we'll continue to visit in the future.April 13, 2017
